Coordination between individual radio astronomy stations:
Individual radio astronomy stations operate within the conditions given by (a) national science
policy and priorities, (b) its technical and operational facilities and (c) conditions set by its funding
agency. Furthermore, legal and administrative frameworks can differ between observatories.
Coordination of observations made at different radio observatories exists only for specific campaigns
of Very Long Baseline Interferometry, VLBI. This scenario applies to Europe as well as elsewhere.
No regular exchange of schedules exists between individual radio astronomy stations.
