Climatology of Radio Frequency Interference and Spectrum Occupancy

This page provides access to the facility to manipulate and query the CRAF databases on Radio Frequency Interference (the EMI database) and Spectrum Occupancy (the Spectrum Occupancy database). The data are submitted to CRAF with a format resembling NASA EMI reports but adjusted to CRAF needs. This enable relatively easy comparison between the two datasets whenever the circumstances require so. To access these facilities a username and password are required; to obtain these, contact the CRAF FM.

Please note that the EMI database contains quantitative information on the actual degradation of radio astronomy observations due to radio frequency interference. The Spectrum Occupancy database contains data obtained from dedicated monitoring measurements.
