Committee on Radio Astronomy Frequencies

The Committee on Radio Astronomy Frequencies (CRAF) is a committee of the European Science Foundation (ESF).

Definitions:

Radiodetermination-Satellite Service: A radiocommunication service for the purpose of radiodetermination involving the use of one or more space stations.

Radiodetermination: The determination of the position, velocity and/or other characteristics of an object of information relating to these parameters, by means of the propagation properties of radio waves.
